Privacy Policy

Gemba Labs LLC ("Gemba Labs," "we," "us," or "our") provides a manufacturing intelligence platform that collects sensor telemetry from production equipment, interprets it alongside operator notes, and delivers reports and dashboards to the facilities we serve. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. Name, email address, and role (for example, operator, supervisor, manager, or administrator) when a customer facility creates a user account for you.
• Authentication data. Login credentials and session data used to verify your identity and keep your account secure.
• Usage data. Pages visited, features used, and general interaction data within the platform, used to maintain and improve the service.
• Production and manufacturing telemetry. Machine sensor readings, downtime and rework events, shift data, and operator notes, collected from customer facilities' equipment and processed on behalf of those facilities.

We use the information above to operate and improve the platform, authenticate users, generate the reports and dashboards a customer facility has requested, monitor and fix errors, and communicate with customers about their accounts and the service. We do not use production or manufacturing telemetry for any purpose outside of serving the facility it was collected from.

We use the following third-party providers to operate the platform. Each processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments:

• Supabase, for database storage and authentication.
• Vercel, for application hosting.
• Sentry, for error monitoring, so we can identify and fix problems in the platform.
• Anthropic, whose AI models generate the written narratives inside intelligence reports, based on the production data those reports summarize.

Gemba Labs does not sell personal information or production data to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party advertising purposes.

Customers own their production and manufacturing data. Gemba Labs processes that data solely to provide the platform's monitoring, analysis, and reporting features to the facility it belongs to.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access-controlled infrastructure through our service providers, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account information and production telemetry for as long as an account or facility relationship is active, and as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. Facility administrators may also request export or deletion of their facility's production data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
